SpringGate's Biergarten
For those familiar with our winery, we believe in outside seating and setting, leaning heavily towards a rural French cafe reimagined with Pennsylvania limestone. We are carrying that idea into the bier garten.
For Germany, Austria, and other places in Europe, the desire is to drink your beer with friends and family outdoors in a worthy and even historic setting if at all possible. That German Bier Garten idea is something we are attempting to implement in the context of our Pennsylvania heritage and setting.
In the winter, our Biergarten will be warm, cozy, and enclosed on patio block, but in the Spring/Summer/Fall, it is extended into the grass, patio, and shade trees, looking out on fields and vines-- and if you have really good eyes, you might be able to see our hops growing.
The Biergarten will be casual, and we hope it will be fun for you and yours. Our food is extended around the property, catered from various vendors. In the winter these caterers will be located inside, in our wine tasting room area.
