2021 OKTOBERFEST!

DIE WIES'N! OKTOBERFEST 2021 COMMENCES AT SPRINGGATE OCTOBER 1-3!

Live your best lederhosen life as you hear our "Mayor of Munich" commence the festival with a proud shout:  "O ZAPFT IS!" at 12 PM on Saturday! There is no ticket required for entrance to Oktoberfest and, all food is a la carte.

GERMAN INSPIRED BEER, WINE & FOOD!

​Visit the Brewery and indulge in a variety of beers we will have for you to choose from, as well as wine, German-inspired food truck creations, and live music. ​PROST!

JOIN IN ON THE FUN COMPETITION EVENTS* FOR CHARITY!

In our usual SpringGate Oktoberfest fashion, we will again this year feature some fun, friendly competitive events for you to participate in! These events will require a ticket and proceeds from all ticket sales will be donated to the Central PA Food Bank. SpringGate will also donate $3,000 ($500 per winner) to the Central PA Food Bank.

BARREL ROLL
SAT. OCT. 2, 1:00-2:30 PM

Meet us in the oval corral by the Brewery where you'll size up the barrels and the competition.

There is one competition category:
Every Man and Woman for Themselves!

The goal is to see how quickly you can cross the finish line rolling one of our wine barrels!

The fastest roller wins a $100 SpringGate Gift Card!

SpringGate will donate $500/winner to the Central PA Food Bank

KEG TOSS
SAT. OCT 2, 2:30-4:00 PM

Meet us in the oval corral by the Brewery where you'll size up the kegs and the competition.

There are three competition categories:
Men's, Women's & Pairs

Men's:  Throw individually, 2 tosses; the furthest toss is recorded.

Women's:  Throw individually, 2 tosses; the furthest toss is recorded.

Pairs:  Each participant gets 1 toss; the furthest toss out of the 2 is recorded.

Colored flag stakes are placed for measurement of throws.

The top thrower in each category wins a $100 SpringGate Gift Card!

SpringGate will donate $500/winner to the Central PA Food Bank.

STEIN FEAT OF STRENGTH

There are two competition categories:  Men's & Women's

This is a timed event - you will hold a beer-filled stein in each hand with your arms extended out from your sides for as long as you can. No lowering your arms or spilling beer-- if you do either, you are automatically disqualified.

The person in each category who lasts the longest with arms extended and without spilling beer wins a $100 SpringGate Gift Card!

SpringGate will donate $500/winner to the Central PA Food Bank.

*Must be 21+ to participate in the SpringGate Oktoberfest competition events. Tickets are available now and are required for all events.  Tickets must be purchased online in advance through the links above or through our Estate Oktoberfest Facebook event page. Ticket sales close at 9 PM Friday, October 1, 2021. Tickets are non-refundable and SpringGate will not offer any refunds. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Central PA Food Bank.
